Drum Corps Europe is zeer verheugd met de aanmelding van 3 Engelse deelnemers. Beeches, Kidsgrove Scouts en The Company completeren de line-up voor de Finals van de European Music Games 2019 in Enschede.
Rob van Koningshoven namens Drum Corps Europe: “Het bestuur van DCE heeft, samen met de Engelse corps, gezocht naar oplossingen voor hun bezorgdheid en na een constructief gesprek oplossingen gevonden voor de logistieke problemen waar de Engelsen mee zijn geconfronteerd. We kijken nu uit naar het organiseren van een fantastische Finale van de European Music Games in Enschede.”
Alan Thompson namens DCUK: “We zijn blij dat de problemen zijn opgelost en namens de Engelse corps willen we iedereen die aan de discussie heeft deelgenomen bedanken voor hun tijd en inspanning. Een speciaal woord van dank gaat naar de overige Europese corps die mee hebben geholpen in het proces. Het is goed om te zien hoe alle Europese corps hebben samengewerkt. Ook wij kijken uit naar een geweldige Finals in september.”
Het totaal aantal deelnemers is daarmee op 16 gekomen, met nieuwe en terugkerende corps. De kaartverkoop start 1 mei a.s. Voor trouwe fans werkt DCE aan een mogelijkheid om kaarten in de voorverkoop te bestellen. Meer informatie volgt.

Beeches, Kidsgrove Scouts and The Company join the line-up for the 2019 European Music Games Finals in Enschede.
Rob van Koningshoven on behalf of Drum Corps Europe stated: “The Board of DCE has been working with the UK corps to address their concerns and as a result of a constructive discussion, solutions were found for the logistical problems the UK corps faced. We now look forward to hosting another fantastic European Music Games Finals in Enschede”.
Alan Thompson on behalf of DCUK stated: “We are really pleased that this has now been resolved and on behalf of the UK Corps would also like to thank those involved in the discussions for their time and effort and a special thanks to the other European Corps that have helped in the process. It is great to see how the Corps have all worked together and we look forward to a great European Championships in September”
The total amount of participating drum corps to date will be 16, with new and re-entering corps. Ticket sales will start on May 1st. DCE is working on a possibility to pre-order tickets for their loyal fans. More details will follow.
