The Dutch-language website Korpsmuziek (Corps Music) is going international this second WMC weekend. We will also be posting the written reports / reviews of all performances in English in an English-language live blog.
Korpsmuziek.nl has been reporting on the WMC for decades. We produce a report / review of every performance. This report is often already online in the live blog before the corps has even left the field. During the WMC, we attract many thousands of visitors to our site. Korpsmuziek.nl is seen in the country as a kind of authority and benchmark.
“During the first WMC weekend, we saw that we had many international visitors,” explains reporter Matthijs van Houten. That is why we decided to start an English-language live blog. Also because we have many international participants during the upcoming WMC.
The reports are typed in Dutch, and we will use AI to translate them. The English live blog will be prominently displayed on the website.
